Bio

Maha Nasra Eddé is a Lebanese Canadian Multidisciplinary artist based in Dubai.

Her work is an intuitive and philosophical exploration of geometry and science related to balance and harmony within natural and manufactured ecosystems, from the microscopic to the cosmic and spanning biological, ecological, physical, and socio-political realms.

After earning a BFA at Concordia University in Montreal, Eddé began her career in design and later became a commercial photographer. Throughout those years, she simultaneously worked on her fine art photography practice and curated and participated in several photography exhibitions in Dubai.

Since 2020, Eddé's art practice has intensified, and her choice of medium has pivoted towards oil painting, mainly while exploring sculpture.

Maha is actively engaged in the art community; she participates in art events, workshops, and courses, locally and online. She is an active member of organizations such as Tashkeel and Netvvrk and attends classes at NYC Crit Club and Bikar, amongst others. Eddé has and continues to give talks and workshops as well.

Eddé has recently participated in several group shows in Dubai: Tashkeel in Al Serkal Avenue, curated by Latifa Bint Maktoum, East West Gallery, curated by Yeocheva Gabbey in Al Quoz; and Bedia Gallery in Al Serkal Avenue. She is working on "Equilibrium," a solo exhibition at T.ZED Warehouse in Al Quoz, opening on January 30th, 2024.
